Letter: Kum & Go departure leaves Westside with 'ugly, obsolete' 7-Elevens So shortsided Westsiders got Kum & Go to abandon the Colorado Avenue Goodwill site, and now K&G has dropped plans to put one of their successful, attractive and modern-service convenience stores on 21st Street on the old bank property.Instead an owner of 7-Eleven is showing an interest. I can think of no more ugly, obsolete or archaic service than what 7-Elevens offer, all of which should be retired to some Third World country. The ones on West Colorado Avenue detract from the historical Westside more than Kum & Go would ever have. I don't patronize them.
