Meet a Westsider:
Daniela Jaramillo

Profession/Occupation... Massage therapist at ReVibe Pilates & Bodywork studio in the Midland area.

What I like most about the Westside is... I love the sense of community and history that the Westside has. It’s nice that a lot of the people have lived here for 40-50 years or more.

If I could change anything about the Westside, it would be... nothing at all, except maybe less traffic.

A good movie I’ve seen recently is... “Bridesmaids,” with Maya Rudolph because it’s so funny.

I'd like to discover... how to win the lottery.

If I could meet someone famous, I’d like to meet... Stevie Wonder. His lyrics and music are timeless.

The next time I travel, I’m going to... Haiti, I have plans to volunteer there. If I don’t make it to Haiti, I will definitely go to Albuquerque to visit family.

My favorite childhood memory is... laughing, playing and fighting with my brothers and sisters. I’m the second oldest of six and we were always together. We’re still very close.

My favorite fall pastime is... going to the farms in Pueblo to get bushels of green chile, which we roast and freeze for the year.

Something good I’ve read is... “Woman Hollering Creek and other Stories,” by Sandra Cisneros.

My pet peeve is... that the streetlights are not on at night in a lot of places around town. It’s dangerous.

If I didn’t have to work for a year, I would... travel all over the world.
