School choirs to perform at Garden of Gods Visitor Center the morning of Dec. 6 Choirs from several Colorado Springs schools, including nearby Howbert Elementary, will perform at the Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center the morning of Saturday, Dec. 6.The singing will start at 10 a.m., according to Dolores Davis, special projects coordinator for the Visitor Center. She invited the public to come to the free event “to celebrate the joyous sounds of the seasons.” Occurring at the same time will be opportunities for children's crafts, wildlife touch tables and refreshments, she said. The center is at 1805 N. 30th St. For more information, call the center at 219-0108.
