MAT schedules 4 November shows
Nov. 4-5 - “The Red Album” (musical improv and sketches), by the RiP Comedy Improv Company. Nov. 5-6 - “The Wright Stuff,” (music and comedy about early aviation), by the Creede Repertory Touring Theatre, as part of MAT's First Series. Nov. 10-13 - “The Great Goddess Bazaar” (monologues from the “Women of Choice” collection), featuring Tammy Meneghini, experienced actress and CU-Boulder theatre and dance faculty member. Nov. 18-27 - “FourPlay” (performances of four new, speedily written/staged new plays). “Calling all brave writers, directors and actors,” a MAT press release urges. “This 'on your feet' intense collaboration yielded four exciting new works last year, and we are looking forward to even greater participation this year.” For more information on these shows and their dates, times and prices, call the MAT box office at 465-6321 or go to themat.org. Sculptor at Art Walk Western sculptor/painter Rusty Phelps will be at the Thunder Mountain Trading Company, 2508 W. Colorado Ave., during the monthly Old Colorado City Art Walk Friday, Nov. 4, from 5 to 8 p.m. The Black Forest artist, whose works include the Kit Carson Memorial at Fort Carson, has an exhibit of his works at Thunder Mountain. The Art Walk is a free event, with 14 participating Old Town galleries in all.
