Keeping Lee aids balance of parties
I am voting again for Pete Lee for my House District 18 this year. In his first two years, he has done an outstanding job with little fanfare. But I have another reason. I firmly believe in Lord Acton's warning that “power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” There has not been a single Democrat elected as a county commissioner for more than 40 years. All one-party, back-scratching Republicans. We at least need two parties in the Statehouse. Dave Hughes |
