SD 11 candidate Patrick McIntire's responses to Westside Pioneer questionnaire
Patrick McIntire, 34, is one of two candidates for Colorado Senate District 11 in the Nov. 6 election. He is running as a Republican. A Colorado Springs native, he has lived here all his life. He owns a video production company. He has no government-elected experience. Along with the other two candidates for House District 18, McIntire was given a multiple-choice and yes/no questionnaire by the Westside Pioneer, which included the opportunity to add comments where desired (up to 100 words in all). The other SD 11 candidate is Pete Lee (Democrat), who chose not to fill out the questionnaire, as summarized in the Pioneer article at this link. McIntire's responses (including the overview comment just below) follow in bolded type. I am a husband, father, small business owner and a Colorado Springs native. I am running to give my community a voice in the State Senate. I would appreciate an opportunity to serve a community that has given me so much. (PICK 1, 2, 3 OR 4.) - 1.
