Plein-air focus at Art Walk July 3
The Pikes Peak Plein-Air Painters (PPPAP), a members-only group that specializes in on-location landscapes, will be featured in an exhibition opening at the Hunter-
Wolff Gallery, 2510 W. Colorado Ave., for Old Colorado City's First Friday Art Walk July 3.
Involving about 15 Old Colorado City galleries in all, the ArtWalk will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Titled The Best of Pikes Peak Plein Air Painters, the Hunter-Wolff exhibition (on display through July 27) will consist of approximately 100 artworks by 33 PPPAP members. At the Squash Blossom gallery, 2531 W. Colorado Ave., art demonstrations will be given throughout the evening by oil painter Donna Dellacroce and stained-glass artist Bill Simpson.
