Thanks for school support
       With my retirement as principal of Ivywild K-8 School, I would like to take the opportunity to say thank you to the people in the community for all their support. I have had the honor and the pleasure of serving Ivywild for five years and Midland (as the principal of Midland-Ivywild) for one year while Ivywild was being renovated, and found both communities to be loving, caring, and hard-working. Their parents and children are the best!
       I would like to thank District 11 for allowing me the opportunity to serve the Westside.
        I would like to send a special thank you to our community partners, Spencer's Market, Crescent Real Estate, Wal-Mart, the Ivywild Improvement Society, and the Ivywild Community Church and all of its congregations for always being there for us.
       The Westside is truly a blessing to our children.
