Summit Brewfest & BBQ

       A two-day event called the Summit Brewfest & BBQ is scheduled at the Norris-Penrose Event Center Friday and Saturday, May 15-16.
       Bill Miller, Event Center manager, said the first-time event will have “at least 40 brewers, each with three or four flavors,” along with 10 barbecue restaurants.
       Cost of a ticket is $20 either day. The times are 6 to 11 p.m. May 15 and 2 to 10 p.m. May 16.
       Proceeds will benefit military charities.
