Old Colorado City restaurant hosts fundraiser for teen-supporting arts group April 6 Front Range Barbeque will sponsor a free event - the Spring Art & Craft Show + Benefit Raffle - Monday, April 6 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. as a fundraiser for the nonprofit 180 Youth Art Corp.The restaurant, located at 2330 W. Colorado Ave., will have works on display from 15 local artists who will donate a fee to have them shown. Money will also be raised from a raffle of goods or services from local merchants, according to Rebecca Cornell, the Front Range BBQ office manager. A recently created organization, 180 Youth Art Corp uses art to help at-risk teens. Earnings from the show will help the corps with art supplies, Cornell explained. A live band will perform at the event, and appetizers will be available, she added. The restaurant, owned by Brian Fortinberry, has offered an art-related fundraiser at least once a year for the past five years. For more information, call 632-2596.
