No official tallies were made, but 239 brochures were picked up during the weekend showings, according to D. Wendal Attig, the marketing director for the development group. In addition, he said, “It's my understanding that four homes are sold already, and another is pretty close.”
The eight models are samples of styles that are being made available on predefined lots in Gold Hill Mesa's 54-unit Filing 1 north of Lower Gold Camp Road and east of 21st Street.
According to the builder, John Laing Homes, “It's the best open house they've seen in four years,” Attig said.
The models are continuing to be shown on a daily basis.
The completion of the homes marks a milestone in the Gold Hill project, which has been in the planning stages since 1998.
