Holmes Middle School band instructor Ken Shane directs his seventh-grade jazz band at a performance
March 4. The show also included musicians from five Westside elementary schools – some of
whom can be seen in the background. The younger instrumentalists, directed by Dan Culp, played
songs by themselves as well as with Holmes’ grade 6-8 band members.
