Four left in Coronado principal search The search for a new Coronado High School principal has been narrowed to four people.After the number of initial applicants was reduced to five by District 11 administrative staff, the list was narrowed to four after interviews by groups representing Coronado students, staff and the community Feb. 27. Also that evening, citizens at large got a chance to ask questions of those four and submit their reactions during a planned two-hour “meet-and- interact” session. The final selection will be made by Superintendent Nick Gledich,, who is scheduled to interview the remaining applicants March 5 and 6. The District 11 Board of Education could formally approve his choice at its March 12 meeting. Current Coronado Principal Marcia Landwehr announced previously that she will be retiring after this school year. Here are capsule summaries on the final four:
