Lions Club to give flags to 1st-graders

The Templeton Gap Lions Club will present American flags to about 90 first- grade students at Jackson and Midland elementary
schools this month. Each student will receive a 4-by-6-inch flag displayed on a wooden base, as well as a pamphlet about the
flag and a color sheet of the flag with the Colorado star circled.
The Lions Club will present a short history of the flag and the changes it has undergone through the years. The club will go to Jackson Friday, Feb. 11 at 1 p.m. and Midland at 1:10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1 From a press release |
