'Adverse weather' cancels Feb. 5 open house for Fillmore/I-25 project
Sent out earlier the same day, the release adds that "CDOT will reschedule the public meeting in the next several weeks. Because of the extremely cold temperatures, CDOT decided to postpone the open house. Warmer weather will provide a better environment for citizens to attend." When held, the session will provide displays and have engineers on hand to answer citizen questions. The $11 million project is planned to start this summer, probably in June, with work expected to take 14 to 16 months.
