Library offering free, job search-related computer class in January

Interested in learning more about computers as well as the changes in Office 2013… and maybe finding a job in the process? David Rasmussen of the Old Colorado City Library will offer a free class in January titled “2015 Job Search Jump Start - MS Office 2013.”
The classes will be Thursdays from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
“We will demonstrate some of the new options, and then you will have a chance to play with the new programs on our library laptops,” states Rasmussen's class description. “No registration necessary, but only 10 laptops available. Attendees should have basic proficiency in a previous version of MS Office. Call the library if you have questions.”
Currently, he said, a “laptop lab” is available Tuesdays from 9 to 11 a.m. “for walk-ins who need a little extra help.”
Rasmussen also offers instruction on a one-to-one basis (by reservation only).
The library is at 2418 W. Pikes Peak Ave. The phone is 634-1698.
