Meet a Westsider:

What I like most about the Westside is... it feels so much more personable than anywhere else. Everything is smaller, slower, and more laid back! And I wouldn't have it any other way.
If I could change anything about the Westside, it would be... The Highway 24 project needs to be stopped, or we'll be in danger of being converted to another Powers Boulevard.
A good movie I’ve seen recently is... “Tin Man” on the Sci-Fi channel was pretty good. So was “I am Legend” and “Beowulf.” Probably the best to come out recently, though, was “300.”
The worst advice I’ve ever gotten was... I don't think I listened to it. Oh, but I think it was to run an ad in one of those other papers. You know, expensive and not Westside.
If I could meet someone famous, I’d like to meet... I guess all the Colorado Rockies. They were awesome this year.
The next time I travel, I’m going to... I'm thinking of a road trip to Glacier National Park in Montana or to the Grand Canyon. Camping and potential rock climing would be a blast.
My favorite childhood memory is... There's so many! Hmm... well, my family and I went on a trip to California in the middle of this nutty blizzard in 1999. The whole trip was plagued by very unseasonal rain and snow, but we still had a blast. I remember specifically, at Yosemite, tired of being foiled from camping, I pulled out the 2-foot mini shovel to dig out our snowbound campsite. And so we were able to pitch the tent!
My favorite winter pastime is... I can only really ski green slopes, so I'm going to say sledding. We had a crazy run at Gold Hill Mesa one time that ended with the inner tube flipping over. Awesome.
Something good I’ve read is.. “Sam's Teach Yourself Borland C++ Builder 3 in 14 Days.” Oh wait, a novel? Okay, fine. The Aubrey-Maturin book series by Patrick O'Brian (on which the “Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World” movie was based) was very good.
My pet peeve is... All those daytime car head lights.... (but I can live with that. I suppose).
If I won the lottery, I’d... I'd have to buy a ticket first! But I'd buy a house in cash. Splurge a bit, invest, and of course help out family and friends.
