       Murals in 1200 block
Two Alice in Wonderland styled murals have appeared in recent months on the front of side-by-side businesses in the 1200 block of West Colorado Avenue.
Song Mooningham, who has owned and operated the Barber Pole, 1206 W. Colorado Ave., for 21 years, said an artist named Raintree had done the work. One mural features a version of the Mad Hatter on a skateboard on the wall outside her shop.
Mooningham's son Peter owns the Pipes Peak smoking accessories store next door at 1204 W. Colora-do, and that mural includes a white rabbit and (surprise) a smoking caterpillar.
