Sattler makes rare appearance in season’s last Art Walk

Artists and/or new exhibits will be on display at four and possibly more of the galleries participating in Old Colorado City's First Friday Art Walk Dec. 5 from 5 to 8 p.m.
This will be the last such event until spring. Art appreciators are invited to drop by. There is no charge.
A joint effort by about a dozen galleries, the Art Walks (now in their second year) have gone on monthly in Old Town since April.
Kirby Sattler, who has created posters for the annual Territory Days 8 of the last 14 years, will be at the Pine Creek Art Gallery, 2419 W. Colorado Ave., for his first personal appearance since 1994, according to business owner Nancy Stovall.
The Squash Blossom Gallery will have a reception for painter Mariya Zvonkovich and sculptor Robert Deurloo.
Laura Reilly's “Magnificent Miniatures” exhibit opened Nov. 24 and will continue through December. Following her large-canvas exhibit in September, her miniatures are each 3-by-3 to 4-by-6 inches in size.
Arati Artists, 2425 W. Colorado Ave, an artists co-op formed in 1977, will celebrate its 31st Birthday with a new exhibit.
