11 stops Dec. 6 on Holiday Bed & Breakfast Tour

Eleven establishments, including the Old Town GuestHouse and Old Colorado City History Center on the Westside, will make up the 15th annual Holiday Bed and Breakfast Tour Sunday, Dec. 6 from 1 to 5 p.m.
As always, proceeds will go to the volunteer Old Colorado City Historical Society (OCCHS). The OCCHS owns and operates the center at 1 S. 24th St., which was built in 1890 as a Baptist Church.
The GuestHouse, owned by Don and Shirley Wick, is a relatively new bed and breakfast at 115 S. 26th St. (not even built until the second year of the tour); however, its brick style is similar to many of the Westside's historic buildings.
Tour tickets are available in advance for $10 each from the History Center and from the Holden House at 1102 W. Pikes Peak Ave. They can also be bought on the day of the tour at any of the participating B&Bs for $15 each.
Also on the tour this year are the Cheyenne Canon Inn, 2030 W. Cheyenne Blvd.; Avenue Hotel B & B, 711 Manitou Ave., Manitou Springs; Onaledge Bed & Breakfast, 336 El Paso Blvd., Manitou; Rockledge Country Inn, 328 El Paso Blvd., Manitou; Red Crags B&B Inn, 302 El Paso Blvd., Manitou; the Lennox House, 1339 N. Nevada; Summit House Inn, 1116 N. Wahsatch Ave.; Blue Spruce Inn, 4505 Fountain Avenue., Cascade.; and the McAllister House Museum, 423 N. Cascade Ave. (for which there is normally an admission fee).
A total of 155 tickets were sold for last year's Holiday Tour, which raised $1,629 for the History Center.
