New Horizons Band schedules concerts on Westside Nov. 16 and 20

       Concerts at Westside locations are planned Monday, Nov. 16 and Friday, Nov. 20 by the New Horizons Band of Colorado Springs.
       - Nov. 16, at 7 p.m.: “An Evening of Jazz” at the First Evangelical Free Church, 820 N. 30th St., featuring County Basie tunes and Sinatra hits, with vocals by band members Tom Fellows, Christina Van Camp and Rick Blessing.
       The proceeds from a “free-will offering” will benefit the church, a press release states.
       - Nov. 20, at 7:30 p.m.: “Fall Concert” at the Coronado High School auditorium, 1590 W. Fillmore St. New Horizons founder Ed Nuccio “will share the conducting honors with Robert Rodine, with Nuccio directing the concert band Rodine the symphonic band,” the release states.
       Tickets are $2 at the door.
