Teen Court event with El Pomar Foundation supports restorative justice program for teens

       Tickets and sponsorships are available for the eighth annual “Wine Tasting and Gourmet Food Gala,”presented by Colorado Springs Teen Court and the El Pomar Foundation Friday, Nov. 13 at the Norris Penrose Event Center.
       The starting time is 6:30 p.m. Norris-Penrose is at 1045 Lower Gold Camp Road.
       The event raises funds for the nonprofit Teen Court restorative justice programs for at-risk teens, a press release states.
       Tickets are $50 a person and available at springsteencourtorg.
       Established in 1994, Colorado Springs Teen Court works with the municipal court system to provide alternative sentencing for first-time misdemeanor offenses committed by young people between 10 and 18 years of age.
