CDOT plans to hold Hwy 24 committee meeting in November – date still TBA

A citizens' “aesthetics committee” for the proposed Highway 24 expansion is now slated to meet in mid-November, but a date has not yet been set.
At a public meeting by the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) in August, an October time frame had been announced, but planning efforts have taken longer than expected, project spokesperson Kyle Blakely said.
About 25 people signed up for the committee at the August meeting, according to CDOT information.
The group is to work on ways to make the project between I-25 and Manitou more attractive and amenable to the neighborhoods.
