Coronado robotics team collecting items for Puerto Rican orphanage

       Cougars Gone Wired, the District 11 robotics team at Coronado High, is collecting clothes and hygiene items for an orphanage in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
       The collection date will be Oct. 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in front of the school, at 1590 W. Filllmore St. .
       The orphanage, called La Casa Cuna De San Juan, “houses children anywhere from a few months old to 5 years in age,” a press release states. “The number of children in this home fluctuates; some children will stay for a day, some for weeks or months and others for years.”
       Here is a list of suggested items:
       - Diapers (sizes 3,4 and 5)
       - Diaper rash cream
       - A&D ointment
       - Body lotion
       - Bar soap (Cetaphil/Aveeno)
       - Vitamin gummies
       - Undergarments (both genders, sizes 2T-3T and 4T-5T)
       - Spoons
       - Petroleum jelly
       - 2 in 1 shampoo
       - Baby bottles (5 ounces)
       - Baby perfume
       - Hair brush
       - Toothbrush
       - Nail cutter set
       - Any new clothes (sizes Newborn to 5T)
