District 3 City Councilman to host town hall

The last time District 3 City Councilmember Sean Paige came to the Westside Community Center, it was to serve as a target in a dunk tank to help keep the facility going.
On Wednesday, Oct. 13, he'll return to the center, 1628 W. Bijou St., to host a town hall meeting from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
“There's no particular agenda,” Paige said of his event. “It's just an opportunity to share some stuff and talk with people in that part of town. People can bring up what they want.”
Some of the issues he thinks might be of interest are the 2011 city budget, medical marijuana and the “strong mayor” ballot question.
One of four council districts, District 3 covers the southwest area of the city, including the older Westside. Paige was appointed to the position Oct. 7 of last year after elected council member Jerry Heimlicher resigned.
Paige's seat will be up for election this coming April.
