Hispanic heritage night planned at West Oct. 13

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the West Center for Intergenerational Learning plans to sponsor “Hispanics in North America” Friday, Oct. 13.
Scheduled from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the center, the free event will feature performances by Latino dancers, as well as other musical and educational activities.
The goal is to offer attendees “an insight into the Hispanic culture in the United States,” according to West Program Coordinator Carmen Vázquez-Guy.
Anyone planning to come is asked to call by Wednesday at 385-7925 or 385-7920.
