Harvest Day free at ranch Oct. 2

The Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site will host the annual Harvest Festival Saturday, Oct. 2.
Fees are charged to participate in rides or games or to buy a pumpkin, but admission is free to the 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. event.
There will also be a silent auction of donated folk-art items, with bids taken from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Proceeds will go to the ranch.
The festival celebrates the “bounty of a traditional fall harvest,” according to a ranch advertisement.
