Free admission to Rock Ledge Ranch for annual Harvest Festival Oct. 3

People can get in free to the Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site Saturday, Oct. 3 for the annual Harvest Festival.
Celebrating “the bounty of a traditional fall harvest,” as a press release states, the event will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The 230-acre city-owned facility is off Gateway Road at 30th Street.
According to ranch information, activities will include performances by the Seven Falls Indian Dancers, guided tours of the Rock Ledge and Orchard houses, blacksmith demonstrations, kids' games, horse-drawn wagon rides, pumpkin- picking, a “farmers market” at the ranch garden, “old-time music” and a silent auction of items from vendors at the recent Holly Berry Folk Art Festival.
Some of the activities will require fees.
