Open house Sept. 28 at Veterans Affairs' Lindstrom Clinic on Centennial Boulevard

       The annual open house for the PFC Floyd K. Lindstrom Outpatient Clinic, 3141 Centennial Boulevard, will be hosted by the Veterans Affairs Eastern Colorado Health Care System Friday, Sept. 28.
       Scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., the event will be free and open to the public, with refreshments offered. Anticipated are more than 40 booths from VA and such clinic partners as Silver Key Seniors, UCCS, Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center and Peak View Behavioral Health.
       Free flu shots will be available to veterans.
       “This event will provide an excellent opportunity for veterans and the public to meet the local VA staff and discover the services available at the Lindstrom Clinic,” a press release states.
       Located just south of Fillmore Street, the clinic is named for a World War II soldier from this area who was cited for heroism and died in the war. For more information, call 720-723-6536 or go to https://www.denver.va.gov.
