What do you do?
Where do you work and what is your title?
I’m part-owner of We3 Shop for the Curious Soul.
What do you do there and/or what are you responsible for?
My number one job is physic reader, which includes predicting present and future events, marriage counseling and offering someone to talk to, either at the shop or on the phone, or I can go to someone’s home. I also work the cash register, help with retail sales and manage the shop.
How long have you been doing this kind of work (total)? How long on the Westside?
I have been doing psychic readings for a year now. I had always gone by my instincts, which had served me well. It wasn’t until I met Nina Gigliotti, a We3 owner, that I realized I had pyschic abilities. Now I help people the best I can. I’ve been on the Westside for a year and plan on being here for many more. I’ve also been a paranormal investigator for Insight Paranormal (not on the Westside) for four years.
What do you like best about it (other than quitting time)?
The people. It’s interesting to help them with whatever problem life throws at them and they come back to say thank you, your advice helped us.
If you could change one thing (other than pay), what would it be?
To show people that what we do here isn’t tricky but a gift! Otherwise, I wouldn’t change a thing here in Old Colorado City.
What part of your work did your training/education never prepare you for?
I was never really a “people person,” but doing this work has helped me understand and communicate better with the general public.
What makes working on the Westside special?
The old-town feeling you get as you look at the historical buildings and the way people on this side of town are much friendlier.
“What do you do?” is a regular feature in the Westside Pioneer. If you know someone who has an interesting job on the Westside (but doesn’t live here), he/she might be a candidate for this column! If you know someone who might qualify, give us a call at 471-6776.
