Public meeting on Bear Creek Regional Park master plan Sept. 30

El Paso County Parks will host a public meeting on its master plan for Bear Creek Regional Park Tuesday, Sept. 30.
The location will be the Bear Creek Nature Center, 245 Bear Creek Road. The time will be 6 to 8 p.m.
An initial public meeting on a plan update was held in June. “This second meeting will offer the community insight into the proposed improvements, management actions and priorities,” a press release states.
Maps of proposed improvements will be on display at 6 p.m., followed by a staff presentation at 6:30 p.m. There will also be “opportunities for questions and comments,” the release adds.
The draft plan will be viewable Sept. 23 on the Planning Division webpage at http://adm.elpasoco.com/CommunityServices/planning/Pages/Bear CreekRegionalParkPlanning. aspx.
