Expanded hours for Route 2, which stops at new VA Clinic

Mountain Metropolitan Transit (MMT) is expanding the fixed route it started in August to the new Veterans Administration (VA) Clinic.
Beginning Monday, Sept. 15, Route 2 buses are running weekdays from 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 7:15 a.m. to 5 p.m. The route had been weekdays only and not starting as early nor ending as late.
Route 2 operates between the Downtown Terminal and the El Paso County Citizens Service Center on Garden of the Gods Road. It has only two stops in between - the Chestnut/Jefferson intersection and the VA Clinic at 3141 Centennial Blvd. (just south of Fillmore Street).
For more information, call 385-RIDE (7433).
MMT provides fixed-route bus lines and a paratransit service for Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region.
