Full overnight closure of Cimarron at I-25 planned Sept. 13; EB only Sept. 15

Cimarron Street is scheduled for closure in both directions overnight Tuesday, Sept. 13 between the I-25 southbound and northbound ramps, as part of the continuing interchange project.
The time frame will be 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Detours will be marked.
The closure is needed to allow cement to be poured for the new I-25 southbound bridge above Cimarron, a press release states.
Another scheduled closure is overnight Thursday, Sept. 15, in which eastbound Cimarron between the ramps and Sierra Madre will be blocked off. The westbound side will be open, but with “various lane restrictions,” which will allow a “traffic switch on Cimarron Street over the railroad bridge,” the release adds.
