County Fair memories sought for 100th in ‘05

       Memories, photos, anecdotes and memorabilia are being sought to help memorialize the 100th anniversary of the El Paso County Fair next summer. Such historical information will be handled in three parts: written and photographic on a special website; video interviews, which will be conducted prior to and during the fair; and pictorial displays with captions displayed throughout the fairgrounds.
       Old ribbons, canned goods, and anything of historical value may be considered as a part of the historical project. Those interested in this project may call 520-7880 or email debbiegalle@elpasoco.com. More information will become available at www.elpasocountyfair.com.
       The 100th El Paso County Fair will be July 23-31, 2005 in Calhan.
