Biz buzz:
Deck for Mill Hill; award for Clark

Bloom's Mill Hill Saloon has built an outdoor deck. Located in front of the tavern facing 21st Street, the area is designated for smoking customers who, based on a law passed by the Colorado Legislature this year, no longer can smoke inside bars.
“That's the idea,” said owner Jim Bloom. He helped pour the cement for the 30-by-13-foot deck, which opened Aug. 21.
A steel roof will eventually cover the area, Bloom said.
