Biz Buzz:
Charity bike ride set for 9/11

Bicyclists are being invited to form teams and join a ride on the date of the terrorist attacks Sept. 11, 2001.
The event is sponsored by Chick-fil-A, with rides of 11 or 28 miles starting from the restaurant chain's location at 575 Garden of the Gods Road.
Related activities will also be happening between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The cost to ride is $15 a person. Proceeds from the event and a percentage of sales all day at the five Colorado Springs Chick-fil-A locations will help these four charities: Colorado Springs Firefighters Foundation, Home Front Cares, Peace Officers Memorial and LifeQuest Transitions/World T.E.A.M. Sports.
Teams can be four or more people, with prizes for most patriotic and best-themed. Creativity and enthusiasm are encouraged.
