Citizen feedback sought on draft TIP
Through Sept. 9, public comments are being taken by the Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments (PPACG) on the draft 2013-18 Transportation Improve-ment Program (TIP).
To see the document, go to ppacg.org and select “Transportation >> FY 2013-2018 TIP” from the left-hand menu. PPACG can be reached at 471-7080 x139.
As a federally recognized metropolitan planning organization (MPO), PPACG is required to have a regional transportation improvement program.
The draft TIP identifies prioritized projects from the 2035 Regional Transporta-tion Plan Update (adopted in January 2012). The draft TIP is fiscally constrained, meaning total annual project costs do not exceed anticipated revenues.
