City Police offer citizen-training class on ID theft prevention Aug. 25

       A citizen-training class will be offered by the Colorado Springs Police Department at its Gold Hill Station Thursday, Aug. 25.
       Free and open to the public, the session is titled "ID Theft Prevention" and is scheduled from 6 to 7 p.m.
       Citizen-training classes are particularly geared for citizens involved in Neighborhood Watch programs, but anyone can attend and no reservations are required.
       The Gold Hill Police Station is at 955 W. Moreno Ave.
