Previously a lawn party, the event Saturday, Aug. 20 at 3 p.m. is being organized as a free barbecue and block party, with a “bouncy house” and music, according to a press release from Barbara Novey, who became association president this year, joined by two new directors.
The location is the Gravenstein residence at 2024 N. Cooper St.,
Mesa Springs is an area of about 500 homes west of I-25 between Uintah and Fillmore streets. The association is the city-recognized advocacy group for that area.
Picnic attendees are asked to bring their own chairs and place settings.
