West End postal workers recognized

The West End Station in Colorado Springs received a Mid-Year Performance Award for the best Mystery Shopper Performance.
According to Edith Fehrman, the station's customer service supervisor, the award resulted from clerks correctly handling a situation presented by a postal employee pretending to be a regular customer.
“It's done throughout the country,” Fehrman said. “The Postal Service wants to be sure we're giving the best service and not shortcuts. I'm really proud of our clerks. They're doing a wonderful job.”
