Reception for glass exhibit Aug. 18

       The opening reception for the exhibit, A Touch of Glass by Bonig, will be Friday, Aug. 18 at the Gunter-Wolff Gallery, Ltd., 2605 W. Colorado Ave.
       The artist, Nancy Bonig, will be on hand for the free event, scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m.
       She creates contemporary glass works, including table-top art, wall sculptures, and dinner and giftware.
       The show will continue through Sept. 20.
       Senior loan officer Leonard Aldaz has moved his office with CMS (Certified Mortgage Solutions Inc.) to a new location. The business is now at 1115 Elkton Drive, Suite 100, in the Key Bank building. The phone remains unchanged: 592-9339, ext. 12.
       The Attic, a new shop at 2421 W. Colorado Ave., will have a grand opening this weekend, Aug. 12-13. The owners are Charles Irwin and Faith Bigley.
       Open daily, the Attic carries a collection of new and old items, including furniture, homemade candles and incense, and jewelry from local artists.

       Mountain Man Nut & Fruit, located in the Old Town Plaza at 25th Street and Colorado Avenue in Old Colorado City, is expanding to include the unit next door.
