The Coronado girls volleyball team has adopted a large flower bed this summer on the south side of the Pioneers' Museum downtown.
“The girls (and many of their parents) have battled dry conditions and tons of weeds, and the bed is looking pretty great,” reported Stormie Wells, an assistant coach of the team.”They are demonstrating an understanding of the benefits of hard work and dedication.”
She invited Westsiders to “swing by the flower bed. I am confident that you and your fellow Westsiders will be proud as well.”
