       Shakespeare at the ranch
A streamlined version of “Cymbeline” will be presented Aug. 1-24 in the fourth year of Theatreworks performing Shakespeare plays at the Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site.
Ticket prices are $35, with some discounts.
The shows will be Tuesdays through Saturdays, starting at 7:30 p.m., in a 180-seat tent set up for the purpose on the field near the Rock Ledge House. Theatreworks, a professional group headquartered at UCCS.
A press release describes “Cymbeline” as “one of William Shakespeare's wildest, most romantic and least known plays... [with] an extraordinary last scene featuring no fewer than 24 plot revelations.”
The ranch is at 3105 Gateway Road, with the entrance just west of 30th Street.
Reservations are recommended at or by calling the box office at 255-3232.
