Changes in library children’s programs

A few changes in children's programming at the Old Colorado City Library are taking effect.
Two summer programs, the Art in the Afternoon on Mondays and the Thursday-morning programs (some at the West Center), ended this week. The library will bring back its Thursday morning (10:30 a.m.) children's storytime starting July 30, library manager Jocelyne Sansing said.
In an upcoming adult activity, she said people are invited to reserve seats on the free Tri-Library Tour of three Carnegie libraries Saturday, Aug. 7 at 9 a.m. - from Old Colorado City to Manitou Springs to Penrose (downtown) and back again in time for the dedication of the new sesquicentennial monument in Old Colorado City at 12:30 p.m.
