Bruce-Fritz new head of Catamount Institute

The Catamount Institute, which took over running the Westside's Beidleman Environmental Center this year, has announced the appointment of Carol Bruce-Fritz as executive director. She replaces Jim Petruzzi, who resigned to pursue other opportunities.
Bruce-Fritz has 24 years of experience in nonprofit organizations, including the American Cancer Society, City of Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum, and Pikes Peak Library District. She was most recently vice president of corporate communications with Pikes Peak United Way and had been serving as the Insti-tute's chief development officer.
The Catamount Institute is a private, non-profit organization focused on ecological stewardship through education, research, and leadership.
