7th year for Shakespeare at Rock Ledge Ranch, July 28-Aug. 20

“Antony and Cleopatra,” based on the play by William Shakespeare, will be performed from July 28 to Aug. 20 (Tuesdays through Saturdays) at the Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site
This is the seventh year for the showings nicknamed “Shakespeare at the Ranch” by the UCCS-based Theatreworks group.
The performances will be inside a large tent set up by the pond and large meadow near the Rock Ledge House. Shows start at 7:30 p.m., with the venue opening for “preshow activities” at 6:30, the Theatreworks website states.
Ticket prices are between $20 and $42. For more information, call 255-3232, e- mail tickets@uccs.edu, or go to theatreworkscs.org.
A city-owned working ranch, Rock Ledge is off Gateway Road and 30th Street. The facility and Theatreworks share the proceeds.
Before the Rock Ledge saga, Theatreworks had a lengthy previous tradition of annual outdoor shows downtown called Shakespeare in the Park.
