Free trampoline time at ArtSports

       A free chance to use indoor trampolines and get a presentation on trampoline safety and skills will be offered by Trampoline World at ArtSports Tuesday, July 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
       The session will be supervised by ArtSports coaches. Included will be information on how to get better and safer use from outdoor “back yard” trampolines.
       Trampoline World at ArtSports will have 29 trampolines available for attendees, a press release states.

       ArtSports, which trains gymnasts and trampolinists, is at 780 Vondelpark Drive. The website is www.artsportsworld.com.
      
       Studio 101, an Old Colorado City children's art school, has relocated across the street to 2609 W. Colorado Ave. The studio, in which students learn “an array of media” in various fine-arts programs, is open Monday through Friday for summer workshops, according to owner Rhonda Conn-Parent.
       Parent is a certified art specialist with more than 13 years of teaching experience. She owns and directs Studio 101 and instructs and designs all lessons.

       The 16th Annual Pikes Peak Western Collectible Show will be July
       13, 14 and 15 , at the Colorado Springs Masonic Temple, 1150 Panorama Drive.
       The show will offer antique Western art and artifacts, including Indian and cowboy gear.
       The show is open to the public from noon to 5 p.m. July 13, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 14 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 15. Admission is $5 per day.

       Doug's Japanese Service has opened at 410 S. 19th St.
       Owned by Doug Briggman, the site is the second Doug's auto repair shop in town. The 28-year-old Colorado Springs business is also at 4620 Austin Bluffs Pkwy.
       The 19th Street store is managed by Ronnie Hatheway, who has more than 15 years mechanical experience and has worked for Doug's for 7 years.
       Doug's is blue seal-certified, according to Briggman, and does “any kind of work from oil changes to engine rebuilds.” He added that “we work on mostly Japanese vehicles, but we have a domestic technician in both places.”
