Fire blamed for meeting delay
The first meeting scheduled by a consultant for the No Man's Land study June 25 has been postponed because of the Waldo Canyon Fire.
Described as a “stakeholder” meeting to bring together people with ties to the area along Colorado/ Manitou Avenue west of 31st Street, the gathering will be rescheduled after the fire crisis has died down, El Paso County Commissioner Sallie Clark said this week.
The study is being funded by a $300,000 grant secured by the county.
