15-year Old Colorado City store moves to 2600 block

The Mountain Man, a long-time Old Colorado City snack shop, has moved to a new location.
The address is 2616 West Colorado Ave., #9, in the Old Colorado Square commercial center that includes Jake & Telly's restaurant.
“The new store has a warm and cozy feel, with a friendly and inviting atmosphere,” said business owner Theresa Barbera, who has owned the Old Colorado City franchise since 1998.
Mountain Man's products include natural and roasted nuts, dried fruit, trail mixes and snack mixes, homemade chocolates, jerky, salt water taffy, gummies and a wide range of candy. Recently added are “two new lines of Colorado jams, elk or buffalo summer sausages and stuffed marshmallows for camping,” she said. Gift baskets are also available.
Open daily, the store offers four samples a day for customers, Barbera added.
