Area’s 1st PostNet opens at Grandview

       The first PostNet franchise in Colorado Springs has opened at the Grandview Market Place shopping center at Centennial Boulevard and Fillmore Street. Owners are Kim-Marie and Bill Coon. Services include copying, printing, binding/laminating, bulk mailing and private mail boxes. The store is open Monday through Saturday. The phone is 634-2300.
      
       The former site of Red E Soil at 630 S. 31st St. recently changed to Red E Rent. Owner Jay Slater is offering 20-, 30- and 40-foot spaces, including ones large enough for recreational vehicle storage, he said. The daytime phone is 471-7992.
       Village at Skyline is now owned by Brookdale Living Communities, headquartered in Chicago. Brookdale operates a number of senior living communities nationwide.
       Village at Skyline, located at 2365 Patriot Heights (off Lower Gold Camp Road), has about 460 residents.
